Way back at Frightfest 2009 news broke that Joe Lynch was going to be working on a new film, incredibly entitled Knights of Badassdom.
It was John Landis who ‘announced' it on stage and explained how the script had originally been brought to him but deciding it wasn't right for him, he recommended Lynch.
Lynch actually described the tone of Knights of Badassdom as “very much, An American Werewolf in London”.
A year has passed since then and this summer Lynch.

Except, anyone who has spent five minutes speaking to me knows that I don't really think that at all.
And yet, I find that is a really popular opinion, and it begs the question, why that is ?
Because I just don't see the fly in the ointment logic, at least not in the sense by which people are trying to sell it to me.
Sure, I have had my fair share of “SHUT UP BUFFY” moments (*coughs* Angel Season 01 “Sanctuary” *coughs*), but I think that most of us could.

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) — Syfy will get a little "Red" during its upcoming "31 Days of Halloween" event.
This weekend's bookings have confirmed the Felicia Day-led telefilm - now monikered "Red : Werewolf Hunter" - will premiere Saturday, October 30 at 9:00/8:00c.
Kavan Smith and Stephen McHattie co-star in the project, about "a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood [who] brings her fiance home to meet her family and tell him about the family business - they are werewolf hunters.

IF television is a religion, then Joss Whedon is its god. Not a particularly physically imposing god (the American creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly is a small and imperfectly formed ranga). But a deity nonetheless.
Whedon creates worlds and fills them with extraordinary, flawed beings.
He leaves trails of holy texts, sacred languages and exotic fetish objects.
And yea verily do his.
